We discovered the nirvana that is a well-run homeschool co-op early in our homeschooling journey. Kids for my kids to play with, mamas on the same wavelength, and classes I could never come up with on my own? Yes, please!

When we shopped for a homeschool co-op that worked for our family I quickly realized that classes are key. If my kids didn’t love the co-op class list, I could chat it up with the moms all I wanted but one or more kids would be hanging from my leg before the class ended.

The key to high school co-op classes is to find unique classes that inspire their homeschool learning. Make sure they have a chance to hang with friends and get used to college-like deadlines.
