If you've worked with me, you know that empathy is a major pillar of my leadership style. Care about your people as whole humans who CHOOSE to show up to work each day. Create an environment where they feel psychologically safe and empowered to do their best work! Great read by Forbes. Glad to see this type of content being published. One of my favorite reminders from the article is that empathetic leadership is a frame of mind and to work the practices into your day to day through sustainable leadership habits:"Leaders don’t have to be experts in mental health in order to demonstrate they care and are paying attention. It’s enough to check in, ask questions and take cues from the employee about how much they want to share."
