Welcome to my homemade anything spare meat feast pizza recipe.
I said to Dominic that for the month of September that we should dedicate it to him turning 40 and have it all about his favourite food.
I even said that he could slip in some unhealthy meals along the way that he has missed.
Well we were talking about our old days of takeaways and decided to dedicate a week to the favourite takeaways from times gone by when we ate a lot of rubbish.
If Dominic had a pizza from the takeaway (which was rare because he loved his burgers too much) he would always have the meat feast.
It was always full to bursting with different types of meats along with a huge amount of processed cheese.
Talk about a heart attack waiting to happen. But it tasted good and Dominic loved it. So for today’s recipe we are all about the homemade meat feast.
Based around leftover meats that you have in your fridge with a few different types of cheese it is a bit better for you than the takeaway equivilents plus if you’re sharing it between four of you, then you are hardly going to do your body that much damage!
If you want to recreate this at home you could do the same thing with leftover fish as well. It doesn’t have to be meat.
Or it could be loads of salad or vegetables that are just about to go off in the bottom of the fridge.
It is just nice to do something that improves on your food waste levels and enjoy something family friendly that is home cooked at the same time!

Ingredients
- Philips Airfryer
- Homemade Pizza Dough get the recipe here
- 3 Tbsp Homemade Tomato Sauce get the recipe here
- 200 g Cheddar Cheese
- 50 g Mushrooms sliced
- 100 g Chicken Breast shredded
- 50 g Chorizo thinly sliced
- 50 g Bacon sliced
- Oregano sprinkle it over the top
- Salt & Pepper
Metric – Imperial
Instructions
Start by rolling out your pizza dough and placing it onto your pizza tray. Using a large spoon smother the top of your dough with the homemade tomato sauce.
Add a layer of grated cheese (1/2 the amount above) and then layer your pizza with your meat toppings. Once done add a final layer of cheese and sprinkle of oregano along with salt and pepper.
Place in the oven for 30 minutes at 180c or until it is fully cooked.
Serve with salad and fries.
Notes
I always do my pizza dough fairly thin as otherwise it can be really thick and doughy and hard for you to enjoy. If you are doing thicker dough then I recommend that you place it in the oven for 40 minutes instead so that it can be fully cooked.
